“Stop This Travesty” is a new video to begin a petition drive to stop plans for the “Ground Zero Mosque” at the former World Trade Center in New York City where 3,000 Americans died on September 11, 2001.
“Our country is the most religiously tolerant nation on earth.
From the beginning we have welcomed all faiths to our shores. We cherish freedom of religion.
But this isn’t a question about religious tolerance.
On September 11 our nation was viciously attacked by radical Islamic extremists. More than three thousand innocent people lost their lives.
Now less than nine years after the worst terrorist attack in American history, a radical imam wants to build a 13 story 100 million dollar super mosque and Islamic center 600 feet from Ground Zero.
Families of the victims of 9/11 are stunned. These families consider Ground Zero sacred ground.
Try to imagine the American outrage if the Japanese government sought to erect a shrine to its World War II Emperor in Pearl Harbor in 1950. It would never have happened and it would never have been right.
Now we face a similar situation.
With hundreds of mosques across this country the Imam has decided one should be built within yards of Ground Zero.
The radical Islamists understand symbolism. This mosque sends the wrong message to the terrorists and does dishonor to the fallen.
It’s time to stop this travesty and to stand up for the memory of the victims of September 11.
This Imam must be stopped.

Stop the mosque at the ground zero site and the insulting threat of evil Islamization against our beloved America. Stop the mosque which is a filed affront designed to tell the Muslims that Islam has succeeded victorious in killing the infidels and has the upper hand above non-Moslems. We don’t want Islam mafia and Islam mafia to invade and occupy the Western World. Islam Has invaded our Coptic nation of Egypt and occupied it for 1400 years. No more mosques to be built, but rather build a Synagogue for Jews and a Cathedral for Christians in Mecca. Deport Muslims who don’t confirm and respect our Judeo-Christian ethics. I tried to sign this petition and I couldn’t get on. This is insane to allow this mosque to be built in NYC and then they wanted to open it on 9/11. Tell me thats just coincidental and not symbollic to their cause. We have lost it as a country if this is allowed to happen. We have no voice anymore with these politicians, they do what they want for their own best interest whatever those may be!!!

I like many, many others oppose the building of the mosque at ground zero, however, when, like others have tried to sign your petition at “joinrandy.org”, nothing comes up. You need to check into the reason why it isn’t. I’m with you 110%!
With all the available buildings, in NY ,they SHOULD NOT build this MOSQUE anywhere near Ground Zero. Has OUR Country Gone Soft!!! Where is the thought process or do we have just a bunch of Knuckle Heads making these decisions!!
