"Coach" Luis Garcia, GOP Candidate for CA-CD-13

Those around the country who might not have heard much about California Congressman Pete Stark (“Raving Mad”) were brought quickly up to speed when Stark had his 15 minutes of fame as the “temporary” chairman (for one day only before Speaker Nancy Pelosi realized Stark is even too NUTS for her!  see backgrounder here) of the powerful House Ways and Means Committee after Rep. Charlie Rangel resigned under an ethics dirt cloud.

Stark has been in Congress longer than any house California representative and it is way past time to send him packing.  Oh wait, he already lives in Maryland.

Besides being ethically challenged, rude and argumentative with his own constituents, and possibly just nuts, (again, see link above for the laundry list and YouTube treasure trove ) Stark does not live in his California 13th district.   He claims  Maryland as his primary residence,  to avoid paying a higher California state income tax.

Meet “Coach” Luis Garcia, Republican candidate for the 13th to replace Stark and get behind him however you can.

Garcia has a great American immigrant family story, and is a true small government, tax-cutting  conservative and WOW, he lives in the congressional district he seeks to represent.

Pete Stark too nutty for Nancy Pelosi? That’s plain nuts! Nancy herself seems confused and meandering most of the time. Whoever defeats Stark should get a medal for service to the country.
