House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, the pro-abortion Catholic-In-Name-Only, pulling the “faithful religious Italian” card by saying that she is praying to St. Joseph on “St. Joseph the Worker” day for this “life-affirming” legislation to be passed.
A brief check over at Wikipedia shows Ms. Speaker is a lying or mistaken old hypocrite, evoking a Catholic saint’s holiday, on the wrong day, to pass a “life-affirming” bill that contains federal funding for abortions?

Saint Joseph’s Day, March 19, the Feast of St. Joseph or Solemnity of Saint Joseph is in Western Christianity the principal feast day of Saint Joseph, Spouse of the Blessed Virgin Mary. Pope Pius XII abolished this feast in 1955, and at the same time established a new feast day, that of Saint Joseph the Worker (a Double of the First Class), for celebration on 1 May, a date chosen to coincide with the celebration in many countries of Labour Day (May Day).

Dick Morris, the League of American Voters chief strategist, says we can stop Obamacare but we need your calls!
Nancy Pelosi plans an imminent vote in the House to force their radical health agenda on everyone.
On more than one occasion they have passed major legislation late at night and on weekends. They obviously have something to hide!
Please remember that the current Obamacare legislation:
- Cuts Medicare for seniors by $500 billion
- Will lead to doctors – and medical institutions – refusing to treat Medicare patients
- Forces every American to buy health insurance under the penalty of a fine or jail
- Establishes a Medicare Advisory Board of government bureaucrats empowered to ration health care for seniors, cut their benefits
The fact is we may never have a better opportunity than now to stop the radical Obamacare.
It is urgent key members of Congress here from you.

Conservative radio talk show host Mark Levin, an attorney who is also president of the non-profit Landmark Legal Foundation, reiterated today during his talk show, that should the Congress pass the national health care bill by the so-called “deem and pass” Slaughter rule, his foundation will immediately file a lawsuit to challenge the constitutionality of the procedure.

Carol: The idea is that we can’t understand Nancy’s gibberish. She tries to sound scholarly, but basically she is just saying she knows best and she wants to be able pound her gavel and say she won.
I disagree with the “don’t get it” stuff. I think they ALL get it…and get it big time. They absolutely know what the stakes are here…at least politically…and they’re willing to go all in right here and now to get this massive Socialist program passed. They know they’re going to get their butts handed to them in November no matter what happens, so they’ve elected to go with as much as they can, at the expense of their future control of Congress. They know they still have that Veto power in the White House and the Republicans would need the Mother Of All Miracles to reach a 60 vote, veto proof, Senate. From a purely political standpoint, they’re sacrificing the political careers of many, just to advance Obama’s cause. Falling on HIS sword, as it were.
