February 11 in Iran is taking on a sinister  significance.  The Middle East is kindling, who will strike the match?

Fox News reports:

Tensions between the U.S. and Iran rose Monday after the Obama Administration quietly increased the capability of land and sea-based missile defenses in several Gulf nations to protect American allies against a potential Iranian strike.

Administration officials said over the weekend that the U.S. was speeding up arms sales to a number of Gulf Arab states and that it had also deployed warships capable of knocking down hostile missiles in flight to the region.

Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmedinejad, in the midst of a brutal police oppression of civil protest in his country, is at the same time threatening Middle East peace with his continued development of a nuclear weapons program.

From Iranian Press TV:

Ahmadinjad issued a sinister warning today, that  on February 11, Iran will deliver  a harsh blow to the “global arrogance” on this year’s anniversary of the Islamic Revolution.

“The Islamic Revolution opened a window to liberty for the human race, which was trapped in the dead ends of materialism,” Ahmadinejad said during a cabinet meeting on Sunday.

“If the Islamic Revolution had not occurred, liberalism and Marxism would have crushed all human dignity in their power-seeking and money-grubbing claws. Nothing would have remained of human and spiritual principles,” he added.

February 11, or 22 Bahman on the Persian calendar, marks the day in 1979 when the  Islamic fundamentalist regime of Ayotollah Khomeini triumphantly and violently took over control of Iran, a few weeks  after the Shah of Iran and his supporters fled to exile in Paris.

Protestors who have been holding demonstrations since last June’s presidential election of Mahmoud Ahmedinejad are calling for a large show of defiance on February 11.

The demonstrators  wear green colors and paint to show unity under the green flag of the resistance.  Thousands have been injured by Revolutionary Guard and Basij civilian police, several killed,  hundreds jailed, two young men were hung last week for committing crimes “against God” and the regime.

Hard-line Iraqi clerics are demanding nine  more protestors be executed this week to put down the resistance.

The Revolutionary Guard promises to act harshly towards civilian protestors on 22 Bahman:

The commander of the Revolutionary Guard stated, “We will not allow the Green Wave show itself. 22 Bahman is not the day to protest. It is the day to show unity. Even though some people may rightfully protest the actions of our politicians, we are sure they will not do so on 22 Bahman.”

Has Iran completed its nuclear weapons program?   Have we waited too long?

When the leader of Iran makes these proclamations he is doing it out of his own understanding of God’s will, which is the real scary part. He should be taken seriously. If he says I will wipe Israel off the map then he truly has the will to do, but hopefully at this point does not have the means. The administration must also be taking him more seriously than her citizens with the recent military presence in that part of the world. As the author of the book “Final Warning” we need to take him seriously.

It is very likely that Iran will try something now in the way of striking at Israel–they know that the U.S. support that used to exist unwaveringly for Israel now no longer exists under President Obama. Tyrannical regimes usually seize historic opportunities when they arise. Look at history. If I lived in a city in Israel, I would get my family out of the city on that day (February 11). I would do the same if I lived in a large U.S. or European city. It sounds alarmist to say these things now, but we will all be saying, “If only we had taken this threat more seriously…” if something really does happen. Notice how the mainstream Pro-Obama U.S. Media has barely even bothered to give any coverage to this obvious and flagrant threat? We are living in a twilight before the next attack right now. I feel this more strongly than ever.
