Code Pink

Code Pink

President Obama will (finally)  teleprompter tonight to the American public and the Taliban how he  intends to handle the war in Afghanistan.

(5 p.m. PST)

Obama’s  announcement (finally) comes after a full 90 days of dilly-dallying, dithering and he will tell us, “deep thought” after General Stanley McChrystal requested a surge of 40,000 additional troops to properly prosecute this war.

The Washington Times reports the Obama plan is for 35,000  extra troops and  certain “counter-insurgency” efforts involving  Pakistan and India.   Democrats in the Congress are fleeing like fleas off a drowning rat.  The Times says Rep. Mike Honda (D-Calif.) wants a different strategy in Afghanistan and Rep. Jim McGovern(D-Mass.) wants troops withdrawn entirely.  It’s going to be an unruly “House.”

By making any move at all to increase staffing of the war, the President will alienate the far-flapping fringes of the left who were so helpful in getting him elected.

Back like a bad habit……HERE COMES CODE PINK.

The hygiene-deficient  loopnuts are rested and ready.  They are now  going all-out anti-Obama and coming soon to a street corner near you.

The Code Pink website is organizing “protesting and vigiling (sic)”  because “This is Not the Hope You Voted For,” ” Obama Military Budget to Exceed Bush’s,” “Less $$$ for Health & Education,” and “Afghanistan=Another Vietnam.”

What a strange turn of events!   President Obama can thank himself for this dilemma, as he campaigned for two years, John Kerry-like, sometimes as a pacifist and sometimes as a war-hawk. (see previous post.)  Did he think no one would notice?

Code Pinker-stinkers rolled out the new campaign yesterday at Ft. Travis Air Force Base, on the outskirts of the San Francisco Bay area.    This particular protesting sect  is known to conduct what is called the “Breasts Not Bombs” display.

Protest Obama all you want, Code Pink….but we really, really hope you will keep your shirts on..

Code Pinkers in warm weather

P.S.:  The Code Pink website request for everyone to conduct “protesting and vigiling” sent me to my Merriam-Webster online dictionary.  Sure enough, “vigiling” is not a word.

For my readers who are as yet unfamiliar with things Code Pink, the definition of “vigiling” is:             “group of unwashed, unshaved people singing Kumbaya.”

Below:

Anti-war activist Cindy Sheehan and Code Pink scuffle with a war veteran at Travis Air Force Base yesterday.

I would like to suggest that these kooks show a modicum of respect and  keep their hands OFF our American war veterans.    I hope our hero was able to get home and get de-fumigated quickly.

Shay Weiss commented on your activity: “So to all the left democrats’ hypocrites, It was a mistake going to war under president Gorge W Bush? But it’s right to be in a war under president Obama + a 5% Tax for the war, Why the double position? This is the same policy for to other presidents within 2 deferent results. This is Duplicity of president Obama & Joe Biden, big change? (5% Tax) It is clear that the media & the left are guilty & behind all of that.

At times we were physically attacked by their teenage cronies.
